I grew up in a family who believed in God, but did not have an active faith. I first trusted Christ at a young age while in vacation Bible school. I really didn’t become fruitful in my faith until I began dating my wife, Lauren. We started attending Northmoreland Baptist Church and began to grow spiritually there together. After we were married in 2006, we were baptized and then became members of Northmoreland Baptist Church. After some time, we felt we weren’t growing spiritually or serving God like we felt we should. We began attending Heritage in 2009. We were (and still are) made to feel very welcome and encouraged to grow in Christ here. Both our children, Paul (5) and Claire (2) were born since we have been members at Heritage. I have experienced so much spiritual growth while at Heritage. I have been active in the church through the church nursery, Bible study groups, prayer groups, the Legacy ABF class, teaching during VBS, and setting up for communion. Professionally, I am a teacher. I am a 2001 graduate of Misericordia University with a degree in biology. I later earned my degree in secondary education. I teach biology at the Abington Heights High School. I hope to become a deacon in order to use the spiritual gifts God gave me to better serve our church and community.
