Women’s Ministry Opportunities
Various times throughout the year
Our ladies enjoy a variety of Bible studies, get-togethers, and activities throughout the year. Bible studies, Moms Alive, Teddy Bear Tea Group, Something’s Brewing, Craft Day, and Ladies’ Retreat are some of the breaks to get away from the daily routines of life. Stop by the Welcome Center in the church lobby for more information.
Men’s Ministry Opportunities
Various times throughout the year
Life is precious, so we encourage men to Live It For Eternity. Men’s breakfasts, Bible studies, Golf Tournament, and Men’s Retreat are some opportunities for practicing true LIFE. Stop by the Welcome Center in the church lobby for more information.
Adult Bible Fellowships
Sunday morning at 8:00, 9:00 & 10:30am
These groups provide an interactive small-group setting for Bible study, building relationships, and understanding how to live out the teaching of God’s Word. Involvement in an Adult Bible Fellowship is encouraged for every adult. We would love for you to connect with an ABF during one hour on Sunday morning, then attend the worship service during the other hour.
First Light – Room 111
This ABF is made up of early risers who are ready to dive into the Word first thing in the morning! We study a variety of Bible books and topics.
Beacon – Room 123
Our class has a variety of ages from middle-aged couples to those who are retired. Our goals are to provide a caring ministry, to encourage consistent prayer for each other, to share our faith regularly, and to serve where possible. We enjoy social events and a Bible study in addition to Sunday morning throughout the year.
Connect – Room 118
- Our class is made up of single young professionals who desire to connect on a more spiritual level. On Sundays, we participate in Bible study and prayer together. We enjoy monthly lunch gatherings (in place of the normal 9:00 hour), social events and other opportunities throughout the year.
Crossroads – Youth Room
- Our class of college students from the area enjoys fellowship and Bible study together. We also have a prayer group that meets on Wednesday evenings in a home off-site.
Legacy – Room 119
This is a group of “20- and 30-somethings” focusing on Scripture application and developing friendships and relationships in our class and community.
Seekers – Room 121
We look forward to knowing one another better. We desire to strengthen and support each other as we study God’s Word. We strive to serve and know our Lord more intimately as we seek to become better servants.
Bykota – Room 111
Bykota stands for Be Ye Kind One To Another and is a diverse group of married and single people. We are growing together, encouraging each other, ministering to family needs, and learning from each other as we study the Bible, fellowship, and pray.
Encouragers – Room 118
- We are a down-to-earth group of people who like to have fun together while serving each other and growing in our walk with Jesus Christ. We desire to move beyond just knowing information about God to growing into mature followers of Jesus Christ by applying the Gospel in every area of our lives. Whether you are single, married, have children or not, whether you are new to Heritage or have been here a while, we’d love to have you come and join us on the journey.
Ladies Only – Room 121
The ladies’ class serves as a ministry to women of any age or situation in life. If you are looking for a comfortable place to learn God’s Word and to ask the hard questions about living the abundant Christian life, please join us. Whatever your situation, you will find an open, welcoming environment.
Men Only – Room 119
This class is for men out of high school who attend the ABF hour alone—for whatever reason (i.e., single, divorced, widower, wife teaches or does not attend).
